Admissions
Pupils are admitted to Dorin Park through the Special Educational Needs (SEN) team at Cheshire West and Chester Local Authority. All pupils must have a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
When a pupil is considered for admission, the SEN team will formally send the relevant documentation to the school for review and response. If no commissioned places are currently available, the SEN team will work with the school to determine whether a place can be created. Any decision will depend on health and safety considerations, including class size and the needs of the pupils.
Dorin Park has been oversubscribed for many years. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend that prospective parents first seek an indication from the SEN team that a place may be available.
